{"id":7935,"date":"2025-06-04T10:26:00","date_gmt":"2025-06-04T10:26:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wrti.go.ke\/?p=7935"},"modified":"2025-06-24T13:28:25","modified_gmt":"2025-06-24T13:28:25","slug":"institute-receives-desktop-computers-to-boost-aquaculture-training-under-samaki-poa-initiative","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wrti.go.ke\/?p=7935","title":{"rendered":"Institute Receives Desktop Computers to Boost Aquaculture Training under Samaki Poa Initiative"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In a bid to boost Aquaculture training, the Institute, on June 4<sup>th<\/sup>, 2025 received a donation of 12 desktop computers from Tunga Nutrition (K) Limited as part of the ongoing <em>Samaki Poa<\/em> initiative\u2014an East African programme dedicated to transforming the aquaculture sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Samaki Poa aims to enhance food security, create sustainable employment, and promote inclusive economic growth by equipping youth and women across Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, and Tanzania with digital and vocational skills in aquaculture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The donated computers will be installed with <em>HowToDoAquaculture.com<\/em>, a free, interactive e-learning platform developed by Blue Planet Academy, which is a boost to the Institute\u2019s students.
