Dr. Roselyn Agumba Onyuro

Deputy Director- Training

Dr. Onyuro holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education (Botany and Zoology) from Egerton University, a Master of Philosophy degree in Zoology-Ecology, from Moi University College and a PhD in Environmental Science from Kabarak University. She is also a Hubert Humphrey Fellow from the University of California Davis with a good understanding of leadership and mentorship especially of the youth.

She has over 20 years of experience in teaching at high schools, Universities and TVET institutions in Kenya. Her career spans from being a classroom teacher, and trainer of trainers to administrative roles such as course coordinator, registrar and currently, the Principal of the Institute.

Dr Roselyn is passionate about mentoring the youth in leadership and career growth and also has an interest in capacity building for transforming livelihoods through local enterprises, for example, fish farming, value addition and smart agriculture amongst others.
