WRTI honours rally drivers during the WRC Safari Rally held at Hell’s Gate National Park

On March 31, 2024, Wildlife Research and Training Institute Board Chair Dr David Nkedianye and
Director/CEO Dr Patrick Omondi joined HE President William Ruto during the WRC Safari Rally 2024
prizegiving ceremony held at Hells Gate National Park.
Held against the backdrop of Kenya’s picturesque landscapes, the event attracted dignitaries,
motorsport enthusiasts and spectators from around the world.
The Safari Rally, renowned for its challenging terrain and demanding conditions, is a testament to
the endurance and skill of both drivers and their teams.
This year’s edition proved to be no exception, with adrenaline-pumping action and thrilling
performances captivating audiences throughout the event
As the dust settled and the roar of engines subsided, attention turned to the prize-giving ceremony,
a moment eagerly awaited by competitors and fans alike.
Amidst cheers and applause, the winners took to the stage to receive their well-deserved accolades.
Dr Omondi handed over the award to Rally drivers who emerged position three, while the Board
Chair also awarded the top 10.
